குருதிச்சாரல்

Dear Jeyamohan

I have been reading the chapters again and again with an intense mood so that I will not lose a precious sentence or a word that is full of meaning. Waited to listen and learn from the Mothers of Venn Murasu as to how they are handling the thought of having to lose the children and what actions they are taking.
You have given a 3D effect of each one of the Queen’s emotions and the means that they take to prevent the upcoming bloodshed. The “Charal” begins with Devikai’s journey to Hastinapur followed by her dialogue with Panchali. Another 360 degrees turn to know the other side of Draupati, whose motherhood surpasses her vengeance against the injustice happened to her. Every chapter is brimming with beautiful Tamil and the description of the emotions and the settings.
Another great dialogue between Pitamaha Bhishma, Gandhari and Asalai. I would have never thought that Duchasana’s queen could initiate a bold conversation with Bhishma with such intellect and the urge to protect the youngsters from succumbing to the ultimate war.
The Kuru’s are correctly portrayed as a clan who love their offsprings regardless of the enmity between the elders. The Queens also worry about the young princes, both Pandavas and Kauravas and they unite as Mothers thinking about the innocent princes who will be killed in the war.
Dhridarashtra and his meeting with Asalai is another great episode. You have brought the palace, the chessboard, his body guard, Sanjaya and Pragthi live. It is not just reading it is also like witnessing the incidents firsthand. The power of “Ma Sarasvati” in your writings.
Every Venn Murasu episode is a gem and this one is more so as you have brought the Mahabharata’s Mothers emotions in the limelight and their effort to stop the war. Looking forward to the forthcoming chapters.
Thank you so much.
Warm regards
Sobana Iyengar
